Introduction

Founded in 2001 by President Stephen Cothran, SC Drywall began as a small, residential drywall service initially specializing in repairs and additions. With residential construction on the rise, SC Drywall quickly became known as one of the leading residential drywall installers in the local region. By 2005, Stephen had focused his concentration on the custom home market, mainly in the Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell communities. Perhaps his biggest residential achievement came in 2017 when SC Drywall was selected as the drywall contractor for Clemson Head Football Coach, Dabo Swinney. With the size of the project and grueling schedule, SC Drywall was the obvious choice for the job.

In 2008, SC Drywall decided to make the move into the commercial drywall field. First as a labor only contractor completing projects for most of the larger drywall companies in the region. Eventually providing turn-key services which include metal stud framing, insulation, drywall installation, acoustical ceilings and FRP. Fully staffed and ready to assist our customers from the design phase all the way through completion.

Today, SC Drywall is leading the way as one of the only contractors to provided both residential and commercial drywall services. Setting themselves apart from the competition, SC Drywall uses it’s on employees to complete projects, not sub-contractors like most other companies.
